Zumer's mission is to empower consumers and encourage companies to develop responsible sustainability practices. Central to this vision are our efforts to create meaningful dialogue between brands and consumers. Zumer is most definitely not "anti-corporation", but rather a forum for conversation.

Through Zumer, companies can communicate their sustainability performance to customers, and customers can provide feedback on the company's past performance, contribute research to hold companies accountable, ask questions and tell companies how they want to see their performance improve.

Your company is likely already covered by Zumer (or will be soon). By taking the lead and participating in Zumer you will have access to a "Corporate Account" that will allow you to officially tell your story to the Zumer community.

The "Corporate Account" lets you to input company information, performance data, and product information that cannot be edited by other users. Additionally, details input by a "Corporate Account" are shown first by default and clearly labelled to communicate that you are participating in the Zumer Database Project. Corporate Accounts are open to scrutiny by the Zumer community, but as a participant you have gain the opportunity to report on your performance and respond to comments and concerns with a consistent message.

Participation in Zumer will ensure that your company is properly represented on this growing site. Furthermore you are affirming your commitment to transparency, corporate social responsibility and will be seen as a company taking proactive steps to improve their performance.
