McDonald’s had several law suits filed against it because of violations of labor laws. To help its employees better manage their money, McDonald’s partnered with Visa and started “McDonald’s Practical Money Skills” program which is available to more than 500,000 employees in the United States.
To support and to show its appreciation for its employees McDonald’s recognizes the top one percent of the managers who are selected by a committee by giving them an award (Ray Kroe Award) which is the “annual performance award” for McDonald’s top employees
